m100 are staying with the m100? Installing those on the C2 would be the easiest - but a 147 hookup is dirt simple anyway - most definitely no preamp needed (the Leslie needs a pretty hot sigjal which the organ already provides, the preamps are mainly for amping line level signals up to leslie input level). The "Captain-foldback" site has hookup info. You will need a 6pin cable, a halfmoon leslie switch (or a foot/stomp switch if you're gonna cheat :) and a female 6 pin socket mounted in a little junction box. The socket gets one of the G terminals, gnd, ac and ac return to power the Leslie and switched ac (from the switch) for the motor relay in the Leslie. See the Captain for pin assignments. Enjoy! Andy -----Original Message----- Would an interface to a 147 be that difficult? I have an adequite understanding of electronic, so I feel this should be doable. The 147 is currently connected to an M100 series with no preamp, Does the 147 Preamp actually amplify or does it just control AC & speed switching. The switching sounds easy any amplification would require i build a preamp for the audio.
