Glad to hear someone else who feels this way.  I have a 1952 C2/JR20  
in my living room and a 1956 C3/122 in the basement.  At first, not  
having a Leslie upstairs was a drag, but now I LOVE the sound of the  
C2.  It's different from a Leslie, and once you're used to that, it's  
really nice.  My reverb doesn't work, though.  The AO-10 in the C2  
probably has something to do with the different sound, as well.  All  
that being said, I'd LOVE to hear my C2 through a Leslie!  Anyway,  
perhaps Larry Hammond was on to something with his tone cabinets after  
all :)
