[HAM] buzzy 122John Lynch vineguys at sonic.netWed Apr 2 19:39:12 CDT 2008
Hey guys. I just installed a trek SS preamp on my old BC. When I listen through headphones to the output signal (G1,G2) of the preamp I get a nice clear tone. The problem occurs when I try to run it through my 122. As far as I can tell, the G1,G2 outputs are supposed to hook up with pins 1 and 6 of the Leslie and the AC pins 3 and 4 are the only other connections needed. When I do this I get a buzzy overdrive type sound...very unpleasant. Any help would be appreciated. -John Lynch ----- Original Message ----- From: "Josh" <81camaroz28 at chartermi.net> To: <hammond at zeni.net> Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2008 2:12 PM Subject: [HAM] New Tonewheel Organ. > Hey members, > > I know the subject of clones has been literally beaten to death in the > last couple of months but this organ is no clonewheel. > > http://youtube.com/watch?v=37C57O35QZ4&feature=related > > Audio quality on the video lacks but, it has real Tonewheels! > > The company also makes another organ that runs off of a program based on > Native Instruments B4 II. > > http://www.hamichord.com/products.htm > > and the tonewheels: > > http://www.parieorgan.it/home_en.htm > > So, what do you members think? > > Josh. > -- > Subscription Options/Unsubscribe/Archives: http://www.zeni.net/hf/ > Hammond-Leslie FAQ: http://theatreorgans.com/hammond/faq/ > HammondWiki: http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/ > hammond at zk3.dec.com archives: http://zk3.hammondforum.com/ > Beta Forum Port: http://www.hammondforum.com/forum/ > >
