[HAM] Toughts on a new van, Vol 10, Issue 9233728249 v9223a at yahoo.comThu Apr 3 09:48:49 CDT 2008
John - Check out Planet Mobility.com http://www.planetmobility.com/store/ramps/planet/index.html. I picked up the 7 ft. ultra light aluminum ramps. I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey & can load an A100 or a B3 into the side; I load the Leslie flat into the rear (Unfinished side down with heavy duty quilt cover). I cut a 1/2" piece of plywood (about 4' x 4' for the rear and 4.5' x 3' for the side) and used 2x4s underneath to make a flat level floor in the van. I can put the ramp lip on top of the wood floor (from side door) & roll the organ right in. The A100 goes straight in; the B3 has to be angled in slightly to clear the side door opening. You can fit organ, pedals, bench, leslie, hand truck (for leslie) and ramps into rear of van.
