Until an actual "tech genius" responds, I'd replace the electrolytic power 
supply caps as a start. There's a good chance they are shot after thirty 
years, and they do supply voltage to the center tap of the output tranny, 
and hence to those tubes. After that, check the voltages as specified on 
the schematic.
