Not SURE either, and I don't have the remastered version. I always thought the organ was mixed tooooooooo far back and devoid of bass. I've been listening to this record on a cassette for the better part of two decades since I loaned it out and never saw it again. I do recall the cover of the LP had an illustration that seemed to show a box that looked like a tone cabinet. But of course that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the recording. I don't recall hearing any evidence of Leslie of any sort on the album. I do have a recollection of hearing perc, but as I search my memory (it's been a while since I listened...hmmm, why AM I posting?) I also remember thinking it sounded odd, so maybe Mel was doing the faux perc thing with the 5-2/3 drawbar, or it might be because the bass was so absent.
