[HAM] Most honourable plug: Cosmic Nomads album "Millenium" now available on CD Baby.Ray Buck rbuck at xmission.comFri Apr 18 17:58:40 CDT 2008
Hi Kon. I'm a newb here, but I've been lurking for a while. I got a question about the download from CD Baby. They want $20 for it. Not outrageous, but just on a whim, I checked Amazon and I can download it for $9. I'm wondering where the extra $11 from CDBaby goes. Does it go to the band? Or is it profit for CDBaby? Does the band get less of a return from an Amazon download? Finally, why is the CD price the same as the download price? There's no packaging costs on the download. (I know it's not all that much more costly to burn and package a CD, but still....)
