[HAM] A102>leslie 145 vs. M3>145

howdy all

I finally laid the cash down for an A102.

I've been gigging with an M3 hooked up to a 145 tapped right at the speaker input wires (the internal speaker is not used, the speaker signal goes straight to the leslie amp), with a simple A/B footswitch feeding the motors.

Can I hook the A100 up the same way?  Is there an advantage to tapping the preamp instead?  I play a lot of rock so sufficient grind is good.
