And your abhorrence of the combination of chorus/chorale kinda illustrates why. The XK3 chorus sounds like (something unprintable) with the chorale sim. And a real Leslie doesn't improve it. I like the "color" (to borrow from Linda) of C3 chorus + chorale, but so far it takes scanner chorus to make that possible. To sum up, if the pig looks good with lipstick on it, then it's probably a pretty good looking pig to start with.
