If you recall though- there used to be many more "TV repairmen" when we had tube type TVs. And I am pleased to say that when my TV quit once a year ago the local TV repairman had it (transistor,etc. type) going again for $ 70. The last repairs I had on a VK7 were done, same day, soldering iron). But we really don't have much choice in the matter. If I were buying a new pickup today the floor height, box height and sidewall height would be uncomfortably high in a 4WD by virtue of some designer hooked the whole industry on building the like that!
