[HAM] Leslie 122A ProblemsJordan Kersten jordankersten at hotmail.comTue Feb 5 23:48:08 CST 2008
Sounds like something connected to that board (not on it) is causing a component to burn...most likely a small resistor or maybe an IC. Probably a bad/shorted motor or something in the speed switching circuitry between this board and the amp. I wouldn't put in another board as it will likely burn up like the last two. Something outside that board fried two of them in the exact same way. Your tech should figure out what exactly is causing this board to fail before he sticks another one in...unless he's going to pay for the board! By the way...it is easy to put in a new board but most likely the whole board doesn't need replacing unless the part thats dead is a component that is unique to Hammond/Susuki and they will only sell you a new board. These are merely impossible, of course. It is impossible to diagnose your problem without testing it myself! Hope it helps, though. ---------------------------------------- > To: hammond at zeni.net > Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2008 23:20:53 -0500 > From: fredrickstanley at netscape.net > Subject: Re: [HAM] Leslie 122A Problems > > > Yeah, it worked for about 4 days.?
