Is there anything in the sign up agreement? I think their position is
that they have "fair use" of anything on their servers (like public
domain?).

In this day and age it behooves us all to think before speaking, or
typing... or even thinking?

One aspect of Gmail that is troubling to me is that anything one sends 
resides on Google's servers, and Google has been coy about who has
access to 
it, how it can mined or aggragated, and when, if ever, it will be
destroyed.
