[HAM] Noisy upper rotor

Many thanks to all who responded.

Oiling at the "oil here" on the horn didn't help.

I did find that if I pull down on the small motor (by the steel core not the
wires) that the noise goes away completely.

Does that mean that it's an alignment problem or do I need a new slow motor?

My upper rotor motor on my 147 has gotten noisy of late in slow mode. It's a
rattling sound. The horn rotates normally, but the noise is annoying,
particularly when recording.

I'm guessing that it needs oil, but am not sure where the oil goes on a
Leslie motor. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Peace --
