[HAM] Can Capacitor sources

There are two main sources for can capacitors: Antique Electronic  
Supply (tubesandmore.com) and Vibroworld. AES makes theirs the same  
way the old ones were made--or at least on the same equipment.

I think Vibroworld uses discrete modern capacitors and encapsulates  
them in cans. They will make custom units for you.

Some radio guys cut open the old capacitors, chuck the guts, and  
stuff modern replacements inside. Then again, they also seal modern  
film caps inside cardboard tubes from which they've removed the  
original paper units--all to keep everything looking original.

Not even I am sufficiently obsessive compulsive to go THAT far.....
