Hey Vicki,

The Helpinstills are beasts similar to the Yamaha CP 70/80. Consensus
seemed to be that they had a more natural piano sound than the CPs.

Does it need more than a good tuning? It is a real piano so that's an
investment you do need to make on a regular basis.

Worth having? Definitely a rare vintage/antique board and unlike many I
would guess an easy one to maintain as most repairs you might need could
be covered by a piano tech. If you got it free AND it seems to be in
good condition I'd say yeah - if it's the baby grand style I'd say Hell
yeah!

On the other hand while I consider my Yamaha CP70 worth having others
consider me certifiably insane so YMMV.

Andy

Hello
My name is Vicki McDermitt and I was given a Helpinstill piano and
was wondering if they are worth having these days?
It appears in good condition but I don't want to put money into
something that isn't worth anything.
