[HAM] AO-44 Reverb questionMike Kearney armillary at comcast.netTue Feb 26 08:46:38 CST 2008
Hi, I'm a newbie, Just acquired an M-2 from its original owner. It has a stuck run motor but we're working our way through that and I hope to hear it sing very soon. Otherwise it's in great shape. Discovered the phono input on the expression control and played guitar through it last night. The amp and the field coil speaker sound wonderful. Thanks for all the helpful info in the archives. I know you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but I would like to add reverb to this M-2. (Possibly in a separate speaker enclosure.) I've located an AO-44 amp/reverb from an A-100. I'm puzzling over where the AO-44 gets its input signal from. I'm looking at a wiring chart from an M-100 (can't find an A-100) and it appears the AO-44 input lead is connected to the speaker lead. Does that makes sense? I would have thought it would come from an unamplified source. Any comments or advice appreciated. Regards, Mike
