I was close to recap my organ. Then I plugged into another 122 Leslie-amp. Then I found the problem. It wasn't at all the organ! The Leslie-amp fooled me. 51 years old, and the wax-caps still kicks! I’m no tech, but this fact amazes me. How can electronic parts last for over 50 years? And they do.... --- Jordan Kersten <jordankersten at hotmail.com> skrev: > I'm sure there are many...the same people who call > tech support saying, "My computer won't turn on!" > and it's not plugged in:)-Jordan- > > > From: organtec at charter.net> To: hammond at zeni.net> > Date: Wed, 27 Feb 2008 17:36:56 -0500> Subject: Re: > [HAM] Generator Caps> > I totally agree, but I > wonder how many immediately jump to a recap frame > of> mind without exploring the tone controls range.> > > -----Original Message-----> From: > hammond-bounces at zeni.net > [mailto:hammond-bounces at zeni.net] On Behalf> Of > Jordan Kersten> Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2008 > 5:17 PM> To: The Hammond Forum> Subject: Re: [HAM] > Generator Caps> > Don't you think the first thing I > did was adjust the tone control?
