Ivar,

I have a 1941 Model D. It is the best sounding keyboard I have owned in my
54 years. The D is 12 years older than me and its parts are holding up far
better than mine.

I was close to recap my organ. Then I plugged into
another 122 Leslie-amp. Then I found the problem. It
wasn't at all the organ! The Leslie-amp fooled me.
51 years old, and the wax-caps still kicks! I’m
no tech, but this fact amazes me. How can electronic
parts last for over 50 years? And they do....
