It is quite easy to fit an on/off switch for the TP-2B in order to recover your triggering drawbar. Just put a SPDT switch between the drawbar, the TP-2B and the wire that was removed from the drawbar. Flip the switch in one direction to route the signal to the TP-2B, and to the other direction to disable the TP-2B and enable the drawbar.
