Hi! I did the same conversion a year ago from B2 to B3. What I did with the percussion tabs is not the nicest, but definiatly the cheapest method: I used a saw to enlarge the window that was for the start and run switches previously. I cut it so it became just big enough to hold the perc. switches. After I've fit the switches from the downside, I cut the original M3 percussion plate to the size that fits next to the drawbars. I put it in place from the upside that I could use the original M3 screws to hold it in place. If you screw the switches to the original plate tight enough, it will hold it in place and look OK. I did the rachet conversion using 3 sets of M or L drawbars. It was way cheaper than the PCB option, but obviously very time consuming. So instead of paying $400 + $270 + A0-28 + shipping, I payed $250 + A0-28 + shipping. Which is a difference I think. Also it is possible to re-manufacture the black drawbar+switches plate. Goog luck with the conversion, and believe me it's worth the time and money. Mat > There is that conversion kit that I think uses PC boards but the cost > is about $270.
