[HAM] Turret Boards

On the subject of turret boards, can't you just buy them directly these days from some of the guitar amp part places, or are there some size considerations that make the AO-28 a special case?

I had a turret board custom made for me 3-4 years ago for an improved ST-70 driver circuit, and it ran less than $100 including three 9-pin tube sockets mounted on the board.

For Leslie amps, the parts count is so low that I have no problem with the traditional point-to-point wiring. In fact, I'm gearing up to build my own Leslie amp based on some Leslie transformers I've acquired. (I'm thinking of doing the 122 circuit using a Leslie 50C power transformer and choke, 122 output transformer, KT90 output tubes, and a 6SN7 driver in place of the 12AU7. The massive 50C power transformer will allow me to run the amp into a Jensen field coil woofer.)
