[HAM] 2 Questions

1. Clean the tube pins and sockets
2. Get the tubes tested
3. Think about getting a second opinion from a tech that would have tried
steps 1 and 2 above first.

The VERY loud crackle comes from the organ.? After I've bumped it or tapped
a tube or two, the sound goes away but sometimes builds to a quiet "roar"
moving me to bump the organ again.? 

The tech I use recommended a solid state amp he has for "a couple of hundred
dollars installation included" or to seek out replacement tubes.? Truly, I
am not sure about either (though he tells me that once the amp has been
replaced, I should have no more trouble of this sort).? 

The Deoxit option sounds like it worth a try.? Can it be bought it stores?
