I've been curious for some time about the new production replacement  
diaphragms that have appeared in the past few years.

I've never tried one, but I've read mixed reviews, including one  
attributed to our very own Scott H., which was not positive.

The "other list" is also curiously silent on the matter.

Anybody have actual first-hand experience? I know it's a bit tricky  
to get the diaphragms aligned, having done it once myself by sweeping  
the V21 with a sine wave of varying frequency while finding the best  
position.
