[HAM] **SPAM(6.0)** Just exactly where IS the new Rhodes?Brynjulf Blix brlf at blixmusic.comThu Jun 12 02:43:45 CDT 2008
I've heard that they're having problems with financing. Potential distributors have been offered ownership in the company, payment very early in advance has been asked for etc. I wouldn't hold my breath. I had a (then) fantastic sounding tweaked Suitcase 73 from 1970 that drowned in the early 90's. Now I use samples from Scarbee and they actually sound better than the original, more consistent. I don't miss the lousy original mechanics and the weight either. My Roland A-50 plays a lot better.
