Well, I only had two "Groove" albums when I wrote that (and just
picked up a third).
They are "Groove's Groove," and the "Legends of Acid Jazz"
compilation, plus he has one cut off the "Kickin' the 3" album
("Misty").
Groove's Groove is all awesome, though I prefer the up-tempo tunes to
the ballads. I especially like "Broadway," "Hackensack," and "Plenty,
Plenty Blues." They are *smokin'* tunes.
I'm finding it hard to chase down "Groove" albums; record stores will
have maybe one title. I have some more on order, but some of them
are imports and could take a while.
The third album, which I just picked up, is "Night Glider." There's
some good stuff on it, and some funkier things, but I think I prefer
him in a smaller band, where he's kickin' pedals.
Any recommendations of which albums I should pick up would be greatly
appreciated.
Really enjoying the stuff -- Groove's Groove is on heavy rotation right now. :)
Best,
Rob
