[HAM] Availability of a replacement vibrato scanner.Ed Greany crest25 at verizon.netTue Jun 17 17:23:06 CDT 2008
Jim, I thought I wasn't going to locate it but found it in my storage shed BURIED. It's kinda like a life insurance policy. You never need it until something dies. I'm attaching three photos for you. I don't see where any threads attach except thru a tiny copper tube into a reservoir. Of course the threads are not there with the scanner removed. I don't know what the attached circuit board is but since it came that way it will go that way. I did not disassemble the organ so I don't know the quality nor source. As I recall I think I bought it off eBay for a spare along with a starter motor which I also have. When I was attacking the M3 I didn't know what I was doing nor what I would need so I started buying. I should have stopped at the oil. That's all it needed. I hope this can solve your problem. Silent Hammonds are not good. Let me know your thoughts. Ed Ed Greany <crest25 at verizon.net> wrote: I haven't looked at it in months. I need to locate it first in my "stuff" in my garage and will advise for you. Like I said, it was just my spare tire in case I ever needed one for my C3 or M3.
