[HAM] WD-40 - Vibrato scanner - M-102 ??

  At the risk of starting a ( ahem) debate.
  The vibrato not working on M-102. Remove Vibrato brush cover and 
discover that the vibrato
wheel is indeed stuck. I can bush the little brass bracket in there 
slowly ,but it is indeed difficult.
  Question- Can I squirt some WD40 in there and let it sit a few minutes 
to free it up, or , will WD40
cause damage to some of the parts? I do recall some friendly discussion 
on this board about
if WD40 is bad for the TG.
