These old time players still ooze with feeling to me . WBD is one of my 
favorites along with Jackie Davis .     They may not play 12,000 notes in a 
500 note song , but when you come away from listening to the tune you feel 
like you were right there back in time as the session was recorded for the 
first time ....  Not discounting the players today by any means,  they are 
fantastic too but they rarely give me this type of feeling  .   Instead, the 
feeling I have with them is more of an  amazement on how well they can play 
their instrument,  and how they can play at lightning speeds and never miss 
a note.  However,  by the time I'm taking all this in,  I don't have time to 
think about walking down a Paris lane in April , smelling the roses,  and 
stopping at an outdoor cafe' for a champagne brunch.      Can anyone back me 
up on this ?        Mike P
