It won't do it with reliabililty and stability.

Scott and Rick, thanks for the news. It isn't good news, but I 
appreciate the honesty.

I'll check the lead wire from the generator. Maybe it's shorting on the 
frame. But I'm not usually that lucky.

I have a Heathkit Audio Generator (IG-72, tube type) that I'm recapping, 
that I recently bought at a hamfest for $20. I'm going to try it and see 
if it will do the job for the one tone I'm missing. But if it doesn't, 
I'll probably go with the GNR-1A.
