[HAM] CV tone generator typeKon Zissis kziss at ozemail.com.auTue Mar 4 17:15:20 CST 2008
Hi Andy. The 82 note BV / CV TG lacks the bass TG notes 1 to 9 but they do have the sine wave bass TG notes 10 to 12, so therefore the 16 ft bass pedals have the folded back TG notes 13 to 21 on the first octave of the pedals where the TG notes 1 to 9 normally appear on the pre CV and the later BV, CV , B2 , C2 , B3 , C3 , A100 , RT3 . R100 , H100 , L-100 , M-100 etc TG's. The sine wave bass TG notes 10 to 12 appear on the A , A# and B bass pedals of the first octave The bass foldback on the bottom octave of the manuals with the 16 ft drawbar includes the TG notes 13 to 21 but the A , A# , and the B keyboard notes have the sine wave bass TG notes 10 to 12. I don't think that there would be any problem with playing left hand bass , but there would definitely be a problem if you want to hear the low bass frequencies on the bass pedal keys 1 to 9 with the 16 ft drawbar. Another problem with the 82 note TG is that it is impossible to rewire the manuals to produce the ''bass all the way down'' TG notes 1 to 12 on the bottom octave of the manuals with the 16 ft drawbar. All the best. Kon Andy A Bohachewsky wrote: I was interested in a local sale CV but its serial number (12007) would indicate an 82 frequency generator. Would that be an issue for LHB and pedals work? I do rely on LHB and pedals so I'm guessing this is probably a deal breaker. Anybody have any comments on the sound of the 82 freq genny and how well it covers the bass?
