Looks like Chet Smith (another of those Smith Boys) has put together a great package of a lot of the best midi equipment into a one piece three manual unit with an Ok look to it. He has built tremendous control capacities into it! It is reminiscent of what many of the best built pipe organs had. Of course yo might miss the 7.5 Hp blower and the midi system doesn't require solenoids capable of moving strong actions, etc. Looking at the AV clip of the footwork reminded me that to play really great pedal one should practice a lot playing pedal alone, I'm probably not likely to do enough of that but even occasional soloing on pedal would provide the concentration that would help do it right. Chet has enough different midi sound sources to provide available sounds for any style of bass playing. I played an organ with TrekII bass and liked it. Sounded slightly better with first drawbar at 4 and second at 8. Well at least those of us that care to can add midi style keyboards to augment Hammonds too!
