Nice Derick! I thought you'd go for one of the PHP type BB's but this works too.

I know I'm using it as long as it lasts.
ANYTHING but having to use our own or another installed separate email client (using more disk usage) for a simple list. Or worse - dealing with the hotmails/gmails/yahoo of the world, the F-ING ad-laden, marketing infested mail readers out there (with their own quirks and problems: login to remember, login probs, security warnings left and right, simple mail hiccups, "Show plain text" anybody?).
Good F'n riddence!

What's best is not having to see separate postings for SIMPLE REPLIES (it can all be within one thread...in which users can simply point/link people and their Q's to any particular thread to add to it or refer to it, maybe even with tech pics to help guide certain topics). Plus, no more hunting for select posts, copy/paste city...again, it's there in the thread. Thread gets too long...easy - split it.

Q's:

- can people post images/schems/etc. if they had to? What's the coding for that if so, standard [IMG] [/IMG] ?

- is this fully functional at this point, or more of a working beta?

- do recent replies to posts bring the single thread to the top, or no?

- Can the others who kick, scream, and whine about keeping this list in the dark ages STILL USE THE LIST AS THEY'VE BEEN for the last 4000 years? If so, is there any reason at all to bitch about this web-forum addition?
These are the same people who utilize/send links to various digital media (mp3's/youboobs/etc.) nearly daily....right? yet somehow the thought of a simple "new fangled" optional web-forum is simply outlandish.

Thanks Derick, it's not life-changing technology here...but as far as the Ham list I certainly dig this new addition.
