Actually the X-66 does in reality what the rest of the tonewheel units only promise. The octave divider does not contaminate the sound in any way. The '66 produces true sine waves,not the approximations of the B,C series. It is not a completely easy concept to grasp that the impurities of the Hammond are an important part of the sound and indeed the playability, but I have to admit it is so!
