[HAM] A-100 reverb unit locationMike Kearney armillary at comcast.netWed Mar 12 07:31:15 CDT 2008
I bought an AO-44 reverb amp and an 1122 reverb unit (that came out of an A-100) for use in my M-2. I'm OK with the wiring from available schematics and wiring diagrams, but not having ever seen a Hammond with a reverb unit before, I'm unsure of how/where the thing is mounted. The 1122 is a rectangular box, open on one side, with two mounting brackets. The 2 straight springs (it's not a necklace unit) are stretched in an inner box which is itself suspended by small springs inside of the outer box. Here's a picture that may help: http://home.comcast.net/~armillary/Hammond/Hammond%20005.jpg My guess is the 1122 is mounted, open side up, to two blocks attached to the underside of the tone generator shelf. Can anybody confirm this, or have a picture of a properly mounted reverb unit to illustrate? Regards, Mike
