Hi Hammond experts,
I'm experiencing an annoying hellicopter like low frequencies noise coming out of my C3 running through my 147 Leslie using Leslie Foot switch Preamp. I have already tried plugging the organ to another amplifier to check if the noise could be coming from the leslie, but it's not, because it didn't stopped. Another test that I've made was turning on the Leslie (with my Leslie Foot Switch Preamp) without the organ on and there was no more hellicopter sound... So, it's coming from the organ. Of course, the sound is more noticeable when I'm playing in loud volumes, in the Normal (not soft) mode and with the pedal all the way up. I'm getting the line level audio signal out of my hammond from the same source of the 5 pin connectors and sounds ok, so I don't believe that this could be the problem.
One thing I have noticed, is that sometimes, when I have recently moved the organ to access the rear panel, the hellicopter noise is gone. So maybe it could be related to some sort of displacement of the loosen TG inside the organ.
Any help will be very much appreciated!
Tks and best wishes for you all.
Eduardo
