The irony of the situation is that you wanted the seller to be aware of the true value of the organ. Whether good samaritan or because you were not "first in line" (hmmm, ethics?) is besides the point. (If there was already an agreement in place to purchase the organ for $100 I'd question the seller's ethics for backpedalling on the deal.) Bill informed him that the organ is worth minimum $1000. And it is. Isn't that what you wanted? As an owner of three A1xxs: $1300, $1600, $0. Add and divide by three.
