What are you playing those samples on? A sampler? A computer? Details, 
details...

Which sample CD are you talking about?

I got one of those Hammond Organ sample CD's off ebay and I am not pleased 
with the results.  The attack is not instant and it sounds like the organ is 
50 feet away.  There is no definition or clarity at all.  My question is, 
are these samples supposed to be ready to process with effects, or do they 
need to be altered in other ways before they are ready to be played?  The 
sound really bad and I want to know if the samples were recorded poorly or 
if I am not doing something right.  Any comments would be great!

Also, one last plea for used gear.  If anyone has a Roland SR-JV80-08 
(Keyboards of the 60s and 70s) expansion board, I would love to buy it.  Let 
me know.  Thanks
