TRF'S SPARE PARTS CATALOGUES AND
ENGINEERING ASSEMBLY MANUALS
The big catalogues are Charles's Masterworks. Six years of his life were spent
working on these at a time when his catalogues were written on a typewriter in his old
office at the top of the house on South Sixth Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania. These
catalogues include listings and drawings for every part on the car from major
components to nuts and bolts. The drawings often correct mistakes in factory
publications, and the catalogues make ideal workshop manual supplements.
Because the catalogues were originally printed from films rather than from a digital
computer file, it has been difficult to arrange publication years later, and the films were
lost for the second volume of the TR6 catalogue. Therefore, TRF's publications
department has been working to digitize the second volume in its spare time over the
past year. The second volume of the TR6 catalogue has now been digitized, and it will
be posted on the web site in the near future with shopping cart ordering. In the months
ahead, the first volume of the TR6 catalogue will also be digitized and placed on the
web site. In the mean time, TR6 Volume One and The TR250 Catalogue remain
available in paper format. These may be purchased at a price of $12.50. If you would
also like your own copy of TR6 Volume Two, you can purchase a CD Rom containing a
PDF file in the near future, also for $12.50.
These catalogues are as good as we say, and we have heard of their bringing fairly
high prices on e-bay. But you don't have to purchase your copy on E-bay. Instead, you
can have a brand new copy for less than you would pay for almost any other book on
your Triumph sports car.
