C.A.R. COMPONENTS
"C.A.R. Components Is for You"
C.A.R. Components is The Roadster Factory's own rebuilding company. It
exists to provide enthusiasts with a dependable source for work they cannot do
at home because of the need for special tools and knowledge. Many enthusiasts
have the expertise for removing units, such as engines, gearboxes, and rear
hubs, but they may not have the tools or knowledge required for rebuilding
these units. That is where C.A.R. Components can help. Old units may be
shipped to The Roadster Factory for rebuilding by C.A.R. Components, or an
exchange unit may be purchased. If an exchange unit is purchased, the old unit
may be kept until the rebuilt unit has been received by paying a refundable
"core charge." All units rebuilt by C.A.R. are guaranteed for one full year or
twelve-thousand miles, whichever comes first, and technical advice regarding
installation and tuning is available from TRF's tech line. Note that we prefer
to rebuild your old units whenever possible, as this insures that the ones you get
back are correct for your car.
