INTRODUCTION--Continued
have worked harder even than during the first couple of
years when I founded the business--but we have come a
long way from the very, very tough years that ended in
2003. It is really wonderful for me at the age of sixty to
have my life's work coming together in the way I always
hoped that it would. In addition to my own work and that
of my staff, I credit two sources for our current level of
success. One is our web site looked after by Mr. Don
Erickson to whom I refer as our "Web Wizard," although
he prefers to think that he works in logic and creativity and
not in magic. My personal thrill, however, is to create
magic in the market place. The other source of our success,
of course, is you. I am constantly thrilled and amazed at
the response from our wonderful customer base. I haven't
actually been out with our customers very much this year, but I did go to Triumphest in
Laughlin, Nevada last month, and it was a thrill and a privilege to work face to face again
with the customers who've made my business great.
The web site, and my e-mail newsletter are very important in TRF's development over
the next couple of years. They allow me to communicate with many of you better than
ever. I send e-mails almost every week, and I offer all kinds of deals, something special
every week. I do this to keep customers coming back to my web site, and I've had
amazing success with some of my weekend features. Such as selling twenty-five alloy
radiators in one weekend, sixty-seven Pertronix ignition kits in one weekend, fifty
windscreen glasses in one weekend. That is a great response from a great group of
customers. If you do not currently receive my e-mail newsletter, I hope that you will give
it a try. All you have to do is log on to our web site, and you will find simple directions
for subscribing to the newsletter on the home page. If you decide later that you don't
want to receive it, you can unsubscribe just as easily.
So, I'm having a great year, and I hope that you are too. We've got a lot in common,
and we enjoy a lot of the same things. Our families and our cars, for instance. I want to
thank you as the holiday season approaches for being my customer and I hope my friend.
I also want to wish you a really magical holiday season and a very merry Christmas from
all of us here at The Roadster Factory especially from me. I'll be thinking of you a lot
over the next two months as the year comes to an end. I hope to hear from you soon...
