These are new products manufactured to a high-standard by Joe Alexander at A.R.E. Joe
is making many products available to all of us which were previously available only to racers.
In the process, he often improves quality too. This kit includes four bronze bushes which
press into the rear spring eyes and into the rear spring mounting brackets on the chassis frame.
Along with eight precision-machined delrin spacers, the bronze bushes replace the eight
original rubber bushes. The result is much more control of your rear axle. With the leaf
spring solidly mounted to the spring shackles, your axle is solidly positioned rather than being
deflected by cornering forces, bumps, and other factors. Your tires stay straighter on the road, and your car
handles better. Joe Alexander has had some amazing testimonials about the effectiveness of these bushes. I

Now, I don't always know all of the esoteric information that my friends pick up by
attending vintage races and socializing with Triumph and MG celebrities. I work a lot, and I
don't get to go to events just to hang out and socialize. I get most of my own knowledge from
books, and I am looking forward to reading this one. I love some of the old MG's I see at car
shows and in museums. I want to know which ones are which and who drove them. It looks
to me like this book might be the ticket. It is written by a well-known British Car historian, it
has lots of photographs of the cars and the drivers. I want this book for Christmas...
