EBC Brakes is the manufacturer of Green Stuff brake
pads and a world leader in high-performance braking. Long
known in the motorcycle world, they have made a major hit
as a manufacturer of high-tech brakes for high-performance
cars over the past few years. I [C.A.R.] learned about these
brakes at a motor show in England in 2003, and I have been
working since then to make them available to TRF
customers in the U.S. Many thanks to Andy Freeman, CEO
of EBC Brakes in England for his help in making both pads
and discs which had not been in his range.
EBC brake discs are slotted and spot drilled... Slots draw cool air across the pad
surface, keeping pads and discs cooler. Spot drillings, as opposed to holes drilled right
through the discs, break down surface gases when braking from high speeds, but they do
not weaken the cross-section of the disc which can lead to cracking of the metal over time.
The discs listed here will fit your stock hubs, and they will work with your stock calipers.
TRF has the first EBC slotted discs in the U.S. and the first in the world for all of the
models listed below. Would you like EBC discs for your TR3 or TR7? If so, please let me
