For TR2 and TR3 models whose tops come off the frames when
they are taken down, the cover for the folded frame is called a
"Hood Stick Cover." In England, an engine cover is a "bonnet,' a
convertible tops is a "hood," the trunk of a car is a "boot," and a
convertible top frame cover is a "hood stick cover."

"Choice of Original Rolled Edge Binding or Less Expensive Sewn Through Binding"
There are essentially two patterns of hood stick covers fitted to TR2 and TR3 models. This is the earlier
pattern, and it was supplied with Tenax fasteners for early TR2 and with Tenax fasteners for later TR2, TR3,
and early TR3A models. In addition, the earlier pattern included hand-rolled edge binding. Hand-rolled
binding is more expensive than the sewn-through binding used on later TR3A and TR3B models, and we offer
a less-expensive version with sewn-through binding for later TR2, TR3, and early TR3A models for those not
wanting to pay for hand-rolled binding.
