RAYON LOOP PILE CARPET SETS, TR3A, TR3B,
TR4
Rayon loop was the original material for these models. For TR3A and TR3B these are
supplied with either matching front floor carpets with rubber heel pad or with rubber mats
as original. As original style rubber mats are not available for TR4, carpets for these
models are supplied with matching carpet pieces only. Note that some colours of rayon
loop carpet may fade more quickly than nylon carpet materials. However, rayon loop
material has a much nicer feel and an appearance that is much more appropriate for classic
British sports car models which used rayon loop originally. Note that rayon loop carpet is
also more expensive than nylon loop, and we choose to offer rayon loop because we
believe it to be a nicer material in many ways. Having said this, the only colour that has
really suffered a fading problem is charcoal grey, and original charcoal grey carpets also
faded more than other colours. So, in a way the fading is just another facet of originality...
