INTRODUCTION BY CHARLES--Continued
During approximately ten months in which Tom Spadafora has been employed at
TRF, he has worked on every component rebuilt in our shop. He has eliminated our
longstanding backlog, and he now completes small units such as carbs and brake
calipers within a few days of receipt, and larger units proceed through the shop in a
much more systematic fashion than ever before. Please note that units for rebuilding are
becoming harder and harder to find, and we now prefer to rebuild a customer's own unit
rather than offering rebuilt units on an exchange basis. C.A.R. Components exists to
provide enthusiasts with a place to send units for rebuilding when they find that they do
not have the time, knowledge, skill, or space to rebuild them on their own. It is the
continuing goal of C.A.R. Components to provide a very high quality service at
reasonable prices.
Spare parts for TR2, TR3 models remain readily available, although prices are
rising to higher levels than ever before as a result of unfavourable exchange rates and
the high cost of raw materials. However, nearly any conceivable repair may be made to
a TR2 or TR3 sports car, and nearly any car may be restored, regardless of condition.
Everyone here at The Roadster Factory is proud and grateful to be an important link in
the worldwide supply chain of parts for TR2 and TR3 models. We hold this position
because our customers have offered strong support to our company for many years. In
return, we provide the best possible spare parts and support services to our customers
every day. Our personal way of doing business has led to a pleasant relationship
between TRF staff members and TRF customers. After twenty-nine years in business,
this writer values these relationships very highly, and I enjoy helping customers to
restore their cars for a wide variety of uses, everyday driving, racing, or competing in
concours events.
I want to applaud John Swauger and Karen Border for their fine effort in producing
this catalogue, and I will appreciate it if you will tell them that you like it too if you
happen to get the chance.

$850.00 during 2007,
call our sales line and
speak to our salespeople.
They will take your
information and
communicate your
renewal to the VTR
Membership Secretary or
the AMGBA
Membership Secretary.
Our offer includes one
renewal per calendar
year per customer based
on our own computer
records. Renewals must
be requested by
customers wanting this
service.
It is the goal and wish of
TRF management and
the VTR that this service
will be good for all, as
TRF needs parts sales
and VTR needs
membership renewals.
