TR4, TR4A
Mini  Web
Catalogue
INTRODUCTION BY CHARLES
I believe that John Swauger, TRF's Sales Manager of almost twenty-seven
years, has done an excellent job of writing this mini-catalogue for Triumph TR4
and TR4A models. We had decided earlier this year that we would provide more
catalogue coverage for all of the models that we service, and on his own, John
began working on TR4, TR4A.  In fact, John has a much larger version of this
catalogue in the works, and we will add to this first edition as time goes on.  We
made this mini-catalogue now because it could be designed and illustrated very
quickly.  Therefore, we have been able to produce a very usable catalogue
which contains, I would think, more than 70% of the parts needed by TR4,
TR4A owners every day.
We hope that TR4, TR4A owners like the format of this catalogue which is
designed for on-line use on our web site.  We also plan to publish the current
version as a paper catalogue to send out to all TR4, TR4A owners on TRF's
mailing list over the next few weeks.  We will continue to add to the catalogue
as it exists on the web site, and we will mail out updated copies to customers
about once each year.  It makes sense, therefore, for interested customers to
keep an eye on the web site for updates.
As you know, The Roadster Factory is a little company with a big
commitment to Triumph sports cars, and the listings in this catalogue are only a
fraction of the parts we stock and sell for TR4, TR4A models.  In fact, we have
in stock or have access to every part currently available worldwide for these
favoured models.  The parts to which I am referring include major components
down to nuts and bolts, and you will find many of these in stock at The
Roadster Factory every day.
In addition to parts service, The Roadster Factory runs its own rebuild shop
for mechanical components, including engines, gearboxes, rear axles, IRS rear
hubs, steering racks, carburettors, and brake calipers.  The mechanical
components rebuild department of The Roadster Factory is known as C.A.R
Components, and since autumn 2006, C.A.R. Components has been run by Tom
Spadafora.  Tom Spadafora ran his own garage for many years, and he joined
TRF staff because he is committed to high-quality work, and he likes to work
hard.  When Tom joined TRF, we had a huge backlog of units for rebuilding,
