INTERIOR COMPONENTS
TRIM PANEL KITS, TR4
Interior trim panels kits are also made in England using
original materials and colours. Panel kits are made by the same
company that manufacturers our seat reupholstery kits to insure
that colours match. Unlike panel kits offered by others, TRF's
panels have heat-welded patterns as opposed to stitched patterns.
This is an important point to consider if originality is a factor.
TRF's interiors are featured in concours winning cars all over the
U.S. and Canada.
Two different trim panel kits are offered for the TR4 model. The panel kits for cars fitted
with soft tops or with surrey tops were very similar except that on soft top cars, a different rear
bulkhead board is fitted. On those cars, the rear bulkhead board is a plain black panel. It is
hidden from sight by a cover attached to the rear deck. This cover, along with two side pieces,
covers the top bow frame when folded down. For cars with surrey tops, the three covers are not
used and a vinyl covered rear bulkhead panel is fitted in front of the fuel tank. Interior panel
kits are available in black, red, midnight blue, all with white piping. Please specify colour when
ordering.
