"Three Famous Tartans to Choose From..."
I love wool blankets, and I love the Scottish tartans which are plaids
with separate designs for different clans or families. "Black Watch" is the
tartan or plaid of the famous Scottish regiment of the British army. Many
clans have several variations in their tartans, such as "dress" tartans,
"hunting" tartans, and standard tartans. I like the Red Fraser tartan and also
the Hunting Fraser tartan. Hunting tartans are usually not as bright, and
dress tartans sometimes have lighter colours. The three tartans listed here
are all very popular ones. TRF sells a lot of Red Fraser, a lot of Black
Watch, and less Dress Gordon. Dress Gordon is a very nice plaid, however,
and I wonder if it just doesn't show up as well in photos.
