Splines wear on wire wheel hubs, sometimes causing a clunk on acceleration or braking. Look hard at
your splines, they should be pointed in the middle. As they wear, the point moves off to one side. Worn
splines can ruin new wire wheels. MG splines are part of the hub, and MG splined hubs are, therefore,
more expensive than Triumph hubs, but we are offering our best price here...

"This Kit Makes a Conversion Much Easier and a Lot Less Expensive"
Each kit allows you to convert any MGB with tube-type rear axle to wire wheels without
having to replace rear axle shafts and bearings. The kits utilize splined hub adaptors similar
to those used on Triumph models to adapt the rear hubs. The front hubs require bearings,
and you may, therefore wish to order front hub bearing kits. Kits include splined hubs for
the front, splined adaptors for the rear, special nuts, front hub dust caps, and four chromed
spinner knock-off nuts or octagonal knock-off nuts...
