"TRF Jacks and Ratchets Are Identical to Original Factory Parts"
These have been mainstays of TRF's inventory for many years now. We have manufactured both
the black jack with a cast metal hook and the red jack with a pressed sheet metal hook. In addition,
we have correct ratchet handles to go with either jack. These are great to display with your tool kit in
concours shows, and they also work well if you need to jack your car on the road.
I remember one summer night in 1969 when I had a flat tire in my TR3 while out on a date. The
young lady was very surprised to see how quickly and simply the car was jacked to change the tire.

TRF purchased the remaining jacks, all remaining parts, and tools to make parts from the
original jack manufacturer a long, long time ago. Over the years, we sold all the jacks and all the
jacks we could make from the parts we had bought. Now, we are making all new jacks again,
and we have just received one-thousand into stock. Regrettably, our manufacturer did not
have the facilities to paint them, and the jacks could not be powder coated which
was our first choice.
These models were, perhaps, fitted with jacks made by several different
manufacturers over the years. The Roadster Factory sells the latest of these
types which is painted black. As we now own the tooling, and make the jacks
ourselves, you can arrange for an unpainted jack if you wish it to be painted green, as
some earlier jacks were painted, or some other colour.
Note that the new jacks are great, probably the best we have ever sold. After much work, the threads
are perfect, not too loose and not too tight. Everything else is perfect too, except they aren't painted, and
you can do that a lot easier on one jack than we can on one-thousand!
